Sarah Palin Watch
This could probably merit an AMS all on its own. We'll be hearing and seeing a lot of Governor Palin over the next four years. Personally, I think she should get out of politics and get a talk show -- she definitely has a certain flair and charisma. Love or or hate her, people will watch her.Here's the latest, of special interest to us in Connecticut: Bristol Palin, the governor's 18 year-old daughter (the one who just had the baby by the boy she's not yet married to whose mother was busted for selling methamphetamines), was named after Bristol, Connecticut!

Agreed Sarah Palin pretty damn stupid. Honestly when she was picked for the republican VP candidate the majority of the new minority was pretty sure ol' John was just giving up at that point.
Sarah Palin to me is someone who should definately run for office in 2012. I wish i could have voted this year because i would have voted McCain and Palin in a heartbeat. I really support Palins views on Pro Life and anti cloning. The thing that is most liked about her to me is that she just seems like a regular person. I hope she runs again.

i personally think sarah palin makes a better mom than than political canadate, but i agree with most of the stuff she says. i admire her daughter bristol for keeping the baby and not opting for abortion. it takes alot of selflesness and courage to make that decision at the age of 17.

I totally agree with JP and Tori... Being Pro-Life is a huuuge thing for me, and I think that she is a great example to women out there who feel the same way, and so is her daughter. Today it seems like all women and teenage girls would opt for the pro-choice route, and I think a lot of people out there assume that. But that isn't the case, and I'm glad that there is an influential pro-LIFE woman out there, to represent the other side of things... as opposed to...ugh...Hilary. But anyways, yeah I agree with you Tori...that was so good of Bristol to keep the baby. That in itself was an example to teenage girls, that abortion isn't the best, or only, way to go.
And Jesse, I have to say I disagree with you... Sarah Palin is not stupid, and I think that's a pretty ignorant, well...rather immature thing to say, just like any of those mainstream liberal haters out there who took every opportunity they could to make fun of her, from her accent to her appearance. She is a smart, classy woman, and I think she deserves to be acknowledged as such, even if one doesn't necessarily agree with her politics.

Sarah Palin....did she suffer head trauma prior being popular? She KNEW she was picked as the VP candidate so you think the least she could have done was study a bit before she gave interviews. The public dosent expect politicians to be omniscient but for god's sake, she made BUSH seem like an intellectual. The only experience she had of running people was in ALASKA, the closest state we have to socialism which everyone knows the right wings are against. Not to mention, the population is nowhere near enough to simulate running a country should anything happen to McCain.
Obama technically has less experience but intelligence compensates for an essential figurehead.

Next thing some1 says about me is that im a "liberal" Ijust call them as i seem em (and so did 72% of the country saw it -ramussen) Liberals will of course attack the possible VP if she gives sooooo many chances too, i.e. not knowing the geography of the western hemisphere, the ridiculos bridge earmark she wanted in Alaska, "ariel hunting", the cliche Couric Interview, the denial of climate changes, the denial of endangered species, The sheer audacity to say God Wants us in the Iraq War, the founding fathers did NOT make the pledge of allegiance, and humans and dinosaurs DID NOT CO-EXIST, HOW CAN ANY FULLY GROWN PERSON POSSIBLY THINK THAT? my god, things like this make politics a joke
